I just reached my tenth year with Hospice of the Miami Valley after choosing to come here following a meeting with the founder of HOMV over breakfast at Cracker Barrel. Her vision for bringing a hospice back to the Miami Valley that represented the true core mission of the Hospice philosophy was something that I had to be a part of. Hospice of the Miami Valley was brand new, but the decision to go there was one of the easiest decisions of my life, due to the culture and passion of the organization.
Hospice work has never just been a job for me, it truly has developed into a passion, and I’m proud to represent an agency that is committed to providing the highest quality care to patients and families every day. Not only is it a passion, but the patients and families who I’ve had the privilege of meeting over the years is why I stay. I’m not the same person I was when I started working with Hospice of the Miami Valley, as the time here as given me a new direction and passion for living an intentional and meaningful life.
It remains an honor to be a part of the Hospice of the Miami Valley team, and I look forward to the pleasure of being a part of a team that remains committed to the highest quality service for our patients and families.
